Front Street north from Mahoning Street 1920s

View from the Mahoning Street intersection in front of Keiser‘s Rexall, facing north. B.A. Wilson & Son Auto Repair and Gas Station is to the right, and in the distance, the Methodist Church. On the left side of the street, Albert H. Byers Bottling Works is just past Limestone Run. The belfry of the Miltonian Fire Station is visible just beyond. Limestone Run (creek) ran under the gas station on the right and under Front Street on its way to the river on the left. Baker‘s mill once stood on the right in this area.
